Alhamdulillah, this year at our second Nairobi location, HNCS volunteers are cooking a minimum of three huge pots of rice/meat/potatoes daily, distributed to over 400 people for their families to eat at home, thus serving an estimated 1600 hot iftars daily. Following local custom, women and children are served first, then men. Insha’Allah if this is sustained throughout Ramadan, we will serve 48,000 hot iftars from this one site!
