All our charitable work began in 2009 with Ramadan Kareem Food Drive, which define our core values in serving the needy. We source bulk foods and livestock for fresh meat, and distribute food parcels to thousands of needy families throughout the holy month of Ramadan. We also provide a hot iftar, the fast-breaking meal, and feasts/fresh meat for Eid al-Fitr, the post-Ramadan celebration.
For nine years, RKFD operated in Kenya. In 2019, under new management our expansion to India and Uganda was such a huge success that we decided to offer the program year round. That’s when Feed A Family For A Month $35 was born.
We provide emergency food, clean water, clothing and blankets to severely at-risk families, orphans, widows, refugees, the homeless, jobless, and disabled who live on the edge of catastrophic neglect in India, Eastern Uganda, Lebanon, and the United States. Our outside-the-box service model is results driven, volunteer supported, and 100% donor funded.
HNCS is a registered subsidiary of Islamic Supreme Council of America (ISCA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organization (Tax ID#: 38-3497540). Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. For tax purposes, every January we mail tax-deduction documentation to U.S. resident donors for donations they made the previous year.
