About Hajjah Naziha Charitable Society

This is the Decades-long Story of How HNCS Came to Be

Shaykh Hisham Hajjah Naziha

Hajjah Naziha Adil Kabbani is the eldest child of Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil al-Haqqani (d.2014), founder and global leader of the Naqshbandi-Haqqani Sufi Order, and Hajjah Amina bint Ayesha (d.2004), a shaykha and Islamic scholar who wrote extensively on lives of the prophets, whose family escaped religious persecution in Tatarstan, Russia. She is married to Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani, Shaykh Nazim’s deputy and spiritual heir. Together they advise Muslims around the world.

Hajjah Naziha advises women on Islamic teachings, family life, and Islamic spirituality, known as “Tariqah”, which dates back to the time of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. She has traveled extensively throughout the Middle East, United Kingdom, Europe, the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, Australia, South America, the Caribbean, Canada, and the United States.

For 20+ years, Hajjah Naziha and Shaykh Hisham have advanced Mawlana Shaykh Nazim’s legacy by directing various emergency disaster relief and humanitarian aid projects: 1999 Istanbul, Turkey (earthquake relief); 2001 Kabul, Afghanistan (delivered medical equipment and winter clothing); 2004 Banda Aceh, Indonesia (tsunami relief); 2005 NWFP, Pakistan (earthquake relief). They also fed people daily for decades. HNCS is the natural evolution of their past work to advance those outreach projects most dear to Shaykh Nazim’s heart.
